There are many different types of therapy out there. The therapy I offer is called Integrative. Essentially, this put you at the centre of the work we do together. You are the one in control of our sessions. You are the one who decides what to bring each session and what direction we go in. I offer you a safe and non-judgemental space where you can talk to me about the problems, issues and feelings you are experiencing in life, whether it is purely in the present or linked to your past. By exploring and discussing these problems, issues and feelings we can work together to come up with solutions and coping strategies. Sometimes there may not be a solution. Sometimes having the space to speak openly and honestly about what you are thinking and feeling is enough in that moment. However, if you don't know what to talk about or where to start i can guide you to a starting point. I also offer Solution Focused therapy where we have a specific goal in mind (such as managing anxiety) and we look at different ways to manage this issue and different coping strategies. During sessions we can focus on the present, the past or both.
At the moment the services I offer are remote only, either via telephone or video call.
